The day

The morning sun broke the horizon,

Signaling the start of a brand new day –

‘Here I am, Lord!’ I shout to the heavens,

Transform me, re-form me, to only your way!

I am inclining my ear, Lord,

To listen clearly; to see with blind eyes –

Whate’er it is, I know you will lead me,

You are Almighty, Lord of Lords, and All-Wise.
