The Lenten journey continues with my choice to take a random photo each day. The following are photos from this past week. With my vision loss, I was unable to see it, but I heard the super moon last week was awesome – thank you to those who painted the picture for me in my mind. I heard robins singing – before the rain and the wind came. Spring has arrived…thank goodness for this new season!
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. Isaiah 40:8 Many loved ones have gathered ’round this table…it looks weathered and weary…but it has brought much joy! Simple silent sacred space is often enough. Complications may come during our journey to the cross. We may find ourselves stuck. Ask God to help take the next step. Take a bouquet of flowers to someone you love or to a neighbor who is sick. Both of you will be gifted. Unplug technology and see what unfolds….you may be surprised.
Look closely….We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each of us has a purpose. While walking, I stumbled – tripped – on this rock. But then I wondered…..have I ever been a stumbling block to others? Have you?
